DIMAPUR — Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Friday extended greetings and best wishes to the Kuki community on the occasion of Mimkut festival.
In a message issued from Lok Bhavan Kohima, the governor said that Mimkut, celebrated after the harvest, is an occasion to express gratitude for nature’s bounty and to remember ancestors, renew social bonds and reaffirm shared values.
He expressed hope that the festival would inspire unity, harmony and collective responsibility, and usher in peace, prosperity and well-being for all.
He further wished the community a meaningful and blessed Mimkut festival.
