Nagaland governor and chief minister extend Id-ul-Fitr greetings, call for peace, unity, harmony and compassion among all sections

DIMAPUR — Governor Nand Kishore Yadav and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Friday extended greetings on the occasion of Id-ul-Fitr, calling for peace, unity and harmony.
In a message issued from Lok Bhavan, the governor said the festival marks the culmination of Ramadan, a period devoted to prayer, reflection and compassion, and expressed hope that it would inspire values of generosity, goodwill and mutual respect.

He conveyed his wishes for happiness, prosperity and good health, and said the occasion should strengthen bonds of brotherhood among all sections of society.
In a separate message on X, the chief minister expressed hope that the festival would bring joy and happiness to all.
He said the occasion should inspire kindness, renew the spirit of gratitude and compassion, and foster unity while strengthening relationships and promoting peace and harmony.
