Governor Bhalla and CM Rio greet Zeliang and Liangmai communities on Chaga Gadi and Langsimnyi, celebrating unity and gratitude.

DIMAPUR — Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended warm greetings to the Liangmai and Zeliang communities on the occasion of Chaga Gadi and Langsimnyi festivals.
In his message, Governor Bhalla said the vibrant celebrations mark the completion of the agricultural year and express gratitude to the Almighty for His abundant blessings. He expressed hope that the festivals would strengthen the spirit of unity, peace, and brotherhood among all communities while preserving the rich cultural heritage of the people.
The governor also wished happiness, prosperity, and continued progress to all those celebrating the festivals.
Chief Minister Rio, in a message on X, greeted the Zeliang community on Chaga Gadi and Langsimnyi, thanking the Almighty for His blessings of a bountiful harvest and good health.
He also honoured womenfolk “for nurturing families and strengthening the community,” and expressed hope that the festivities would further strengthen familial bonds and community ties.
