
Dimapur, July 31 (EMN): Nagaland Governor RN Ravi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended Tsüngremmong greetings to the Ao community and the people of the state.
“Tsüngremong is traditionally celebrated by the Ao people to reinforce their bond of brotherhood and also thanks giving to the God for a bountiful harvest. This centuries old tradition is a priceless cultural heritage of the Ao people. I urge upon the community specially the youth to imbibe and propagate the values of brotherhood inherent in their festival,” read the message from Ravi.
“I wish you all good health, happiness and prosperity,” it added.
Chief Minister of the state also took to Twitter to greet the Ao community on the auspicious occasion.
“Happy Tsüngremmong to the Ao community. May God Almighty's blessings continue to be upon the lands and fields that provides for us. I wish you a bountiful harvest, blessings of good health and prosperity,” Rio wrote.
