DIMAPUR — Governor of Nagaland Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio extended greetings to the Yimkhiung community as the celebrate Tsüngkamnyo festival.
In a message issued on Thursday, the governor noted that Tsüngkamnyo is a time of thanksgiving, reflecting the community’s deep respect for nature, hard work, and ancestral traditions.
“May this occasion strengthen unity, harmony and cultural pride. I wish you all peace, prosperity, good health and continued progress,” Bhalla said.
Meanwhile, Rio greeted the community on his official X handle, expressing hope that the festival will strengthen harmony and goodwill.
“Warm greetings to the Yimkhiung community on the occasion of Tsüngkamnyo. The festival honours the values of reconciliation, sharing, fellowship,
and reinforces bonds of friendship, peace, and unity within the community. May Tsüngkamnyo strengthen harmony and goodwill among all,” he posted.
