[dropcap]M[/dropcap]r. T.R Zelliang contradicts his own statements, as appeared on Nagaland post dated 22nd July 2014 page 1 of vol XXIV No.225, first he said the NP&NGP was framed as per the provision of Article 371(A) but latter on he contradicts his earlier statement by saying that the center has asked them to prepare legal frame work in regard to NP&NG which is still in process. Why would a Chief Minster officially lunch the resumption oil exploitation when the legal frame work for oil exploitation has not be worked out yet and is still in the process? Does this not show the incompetence of our chief minister? What is the hurry?
Does the voice of Kyong student union, Kohima Lotha Hoho, Naga Tribal Council KonyaK Union and the cries or Yonchucho, sunglup, Lakhuti, Sokvu and Makharong villages against the resumption of oil exploration and against NSDZ mean nothing to our Chief Minster and his team of Ministers. In return, they use force to silence the Kyong Student Union Voluntaries who did the right thing by boycotting the lunching program of oil exploitation in Changpang under Wokha District. Politicians going against the will of the people is that not some serious human rights violation?Land owners of oil field be careful of the craftiness of our politicians and the oil companies. They may let you sign a contract for five years but they will drain all your oil in just two years and you will end up getting nothing for the remaining 3 years. And who are you going to compliant to? the politicians ? good luck with that because they will long gone by then.
Nagaland Home minister Y. Patton termed the Kyong Student Union agitation as “illogical” what prompts the Home Minster to call the “agitation” by the KSU as “illogical is beyond me. I think our home minister’s dictionary defines illogical as “someone trying to protect their precious land from foreign invaders”. I wonder how his dictionary defiens the word “logical”. What a fine home minister we have here. I am already felling very secured. Mr Y. Patton also said that someone has misguided KSU (Kyong Student Union), with respect Sir the KSU have enough “common sense” which you seems to lack in abundance ,to see that they are being been played by the politicians and they are determined not to be tricked by the sweet and patriotic words of the politicians.
Chief Minister T.R.Zilliang who official lunched the resumption of oil exploration in Changpang and Tsson villge area even when the public protests is a “crystal clear” sign that our politicians have become a threat for our Nagas. Home Minster Y.Patto terming the Kyong Student Union agitation as “illogical” and blaming that the Kyong Student union of being misguided by someone is a sign that they have already decided to go against the peoples will. I wonder what is so important that the politicians would not even listen to their own people. Most of top politicians have picked side and they have decided to side with the might of money and rich oil companies and other Industries who will be investing in Nagaland. Now imagine if one single oil company like MOGPL(Metropolitan oil and Gas Pvt.Ltd) can do that to our top Nagaland politicians. Imagine what can 6 or 7 of such oil companies do to our Naga Politicians. These companies will make our Naga politicians dance to their music at their wish. I am not taking about some ordinary dance but some serious break-dance. Imagine all the Industrialist clapping hands while our Nags politicians break dancing. That day has already come. Few have already started dancing including our Chief Minister and Home minister. The others if not careful might soon join in.
The Bibles clearly talks about bad governance and bad politician leaders such as the one we have in Nagaland. Proverbs 29:2 says “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. No wonder the Nagas are groaning in so much pain. However his mist of darkness we Nagas must not loose hope for it says in Pslams 92:7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, it is that they may be destroyed for ever. So let us rejoice. Yes the politicians in Nagaland seems to have joined hands together to go against the will of the people, but rejoice for it says in Psalms 11:21 though they join forces, the wicked will not go unpunished; But the posterity of the righteous will be delivered. Never the less lets not stop praying for our politicians and top politicians because they are very own people. Let us pray for their good health and wisdom in decision-making so that will see the truth and that the Truth shall set Nagaland free.
Word of caution to the top ministers including our chief minister and our former Chief Minister in Delhi who is a member of parliament. Please be careful on deciding the fate of Nagaland. Please don’t let greed for wealth and position enslave Nagaland. Mahatma Gandhi said the world has enough for everyone’s need but the world does not have enough for one man’s greed. Every decision you politicians take will affect us all in the future. I might sound ignorant but calling more on the Name of God will be more profitable then calling on the central ministers or some foreign Ministers and industrialist or companies to invest in Nagaland. I have this strange imagination that the minister in Delhi are raising a toast and saying in hindi..yeah Nagaland ka Chief minister or Ministers lok keddena Nadan hai, kog be bathado, beswas kerlata hai ( These Nagaland Chief ministers and ministers are so ignorant, whatever you tell them, they believe). Well Maybe I am watching too much Hindi movies. I hope this is just an imagination. Naga Politicians be wise be on the lookout, just as you are so successful in fooling the Nagas, the politicians in Delhi must be very successfully fooling you too, just as you are making it sound so real to the Nagas, so must the ministers at the center sounding very real to you all and so must the oil companies too.
Dear politicians Nagaland is our Promise land. God is not going to bless us another land like Nagaland. So much has been scarified for our Land. Please show some respect for the lives sacrificed and the service reentered by our fathers and ancestors. To ushering a monster like NSDZ and to sell away the best potion of Nagaland might look like a smart decision but its certainly not a wise decision. In the long run this NSDZ monster will turn against our people. Allowing the oil companies to drain the best available resource in Nagaland which is oil is not a wise decision. By the way aren’t we supposed to save the best for the last? All we Nagas ask is for the Politcians to be honest and truthful. Is it too much for ask ? Is there no God fearing, wise and courageous Naga politicians left in our present NPF lead DAN government who has the backbone to stand up and say this is wrong? I refuse to believe that all the NPF led DAN politicians are corrupted. If you are the one let us hear from you, speak up act up don’t be silent, this is the right moment. Save Nagaland from being sold Nagas have survived by Gods grace under the worst economic condition for the last 10 years. I believe we can surely survive another 10 years of bad economy provided if we have our lands and if you politicians don’t falsely deceive us and take away our land and sell it to other in the name of economic development.
Dear Nagas, in Nagaland and all over the world, Nagaland is Gods Promised Land for us. We cannot cast our precious land to the politicians and just let them do as they wish. If we don’t stand up now we won’t have even have enough space to place our legs to stand for our rights in our own land. Who will save Nagaland form being sold? Lord deliver us from the evil ones. God be with us. God bless Nagaland. Our home sweet home.
