Nagaland will field four athletes at the 60th National Cross Country Championships 2026 in Ranchi under coach Moalong Jamir.

DIMAPUR — Nagaland will participate in the 60th National Cross Country Championships 2026 to be held at Ranchi, Jharkhand, on Saturday, with a four-member team selected from the state championships.
According to a press release issued by the Nagaland Athletics Association, the Nagaland team will be led by Moalong Jamir, who will serve as team coach-cum-manager.
The contingent comprises athletes who delivered promising performances at the Nagaland Cross Country Championships 2025 and were selected on the basis of merit and potential.

The participating athletes are Wede Tmero and Nahtei N Wangnao in the senior men’s category, Chongsop P in the under-18 boys’ 4 km category, and Supie in the under-16 girls’ 2 km category.
The association extended its best wishes to the athletes for a strong performance at the national championship.
