The Nagaland Designers' Association (NDA) will be organising its second edition of Nagaland Fashion week (NFW) 2018 in the month of October. This was stated in an update issued on July 28.
This year, the NFW is said to be centered towards reviving the rich cultural traditions with an aim to market the Naga ethnic clothing brand globally in term of quality, innovation and marketability.
The show is said to be based on ethnic fusion fall/winter collection which is said to be diagrammed in providing a stage to the many talented designers who will unfold the hidden ethnic cache through their creative collections.
NFW will not only debut the upcoming and prominent designers but will also feature unskilled fashion enthusiasts, in line to support and showcase their fashion concept, besides, encouraging young fashionistas to adopt fashion as a career, the release stated.
One of the best aspects of this exciting event is that, it will take place in two different cities- Dimapur and Kohima; giving opportunities to both the participants and audiences to witness the one and only biggest fashion show in Nagaland, the release further added.
The registration for aspiring designers is said to be soon directed.
