Nagaland extends summer break for schools

Dimapur, May 12 (EMN): The directorate of School Education has announced the extension of summer vacation for all schools, both government and private, functioning with the state of Nagaland in view of the current pandemic situation.

A notification issued by Principal Director of School Education, Shavanas C informed that summer break for schools in the state will be extended to May 21.

“All hostels accommodating school students shall also be closed during the period of summer vacation,” the notification read.

It may be mentioned that the directorate of School Education had on April 29 announced summer vacation for schools starting from April 30.
