Dimapur, Nov. 3 (EMN): In the ongoing BCCI U-19 women cricket tournament at Dhanbad in Jharkhand, Nagaland U-19 women team defeated Sikkim U-19 by 120 runs. This was stated in a press note. Nagaland captain Elena lost the toss and was put into bat first. Nagaland team scored 167 runs in 48 overs. Muskan scored 24, Kanika 12 and Priyanka 24 runs for Nagaland. For Sikkim, Archana Limbu took 4 wickets for 28 runs. Chasing, Sikkim were bundled out for 47 runs in 32 overs. For Nagaland Arpana took a record 7 wickets giving away just 3 runs in 9 overs with 6 maidens. Nagaland has already defeated Manipur in the first match by 117 runs. The next match is with Bihar on Nov. 5 at Tata Stadium, Dhanbad.
