Dimapur, May 14 (EMN): The Nagaland Emergency Centre at Nagaland House in New Delhi has been helping the needy and Covid-19 patients from the state residing in the capital city and NCRT since its emergency centre help-desk was re-activated in view of the second wave of the pandemic
An update from the centre informed that it has taken up various initiatives to help the needy people of Nagaland during the lockdown period under guidance of the deputy resident commissioner of Nagaland House and staff, different tribal unit executives, NGOs, medical professionals and elders from the state residing in Delhi and NCRT.
The Nagaland Emergency Centre stated that it was able to assist those in need because of the timely assistance and support from the chief minister of Nagaland. It also thanked Lanu Jamir, Vice Principal and Team, Mount Carmel School, New Delhi for the co-operation and timely help, as well as the Delhi Ao Arogo Trust for donating 10 regulators for oxygen cylinder.
While stating that it still has a long way to go in helping the needy people of the state residing in Delhi, the centre requested all the churches in Nagaland to continue to pray for them so that they can provide more assistance with the help of the State government.
