DIMAPUR: Winning candidates in the recently held state assembly including Moatoshi Longkumer from 2 Dimapur-II AC, Tovihoto Ayemi from 1 Dimapur-I, Salhoutuonuo Kruse from 8 Western Angami AC, Z Nyusietho Nyuthe from 20 Meluri AC, and G Kaito Aye from 36 Satakha AC, have organised thanksgiving programme in their respective assembly constituencies.
Various candidates have assured to work with commitment towards fulfilling the aspirations of the electotates. They have also acknowledged the support and cooperation rendered by the electorates during the election campaign thereby enabling them emerge victory.

Moatoshi: Advisor of Labour, Employment, and Skill Development and Excise department, Moatoshi Longkumer, has committed to fulfilling the people's aspiration and not disappoints them as he began new innings.
Speaking at the thanksgiving programmee held on Friday at Saku Mission College, Longkumer conveyed his appreciation to Chingwang Konyak, NDPP president, and Neiphiu Rio, chief minister, for granting him NDPP ticket and providing comprehensive logistical support during his election campaign.
Longkumer also showered gratitude to all the NDPP party members and supporters for their unwavering support in overcoming the challenges during the election campaign.
Longkumer admitted that it is now his responsibility to repay the electorates in fulfilling their aspiration for the support he received during the election. He also emphasised on the importance of seeking God's guideance and utilising the available resources to achieve the vision set by the people.
Tovihoto: Advisor of Tribal Affairs and Election, Tovihoto Ayemi, felt that there would likely be all party government again since all the elected political parties have extended support to the NDPP-BJP alliance.
Speaking at the thanksgiving programme held in his residence at Thahekhu village on Friday, Ayemi expressed gratitude to all the electorates and various organisations for ensuring clean and fair election. He stated that out of the total 225 candidates who have filed nominations, 50% elected members were first timers.

Affirming on the government’s commitment to work for the people, Ayemi assured that all problems and issues would be resolved at the earliest. In this regard, he urged the public to participate and cooperate with the government and contribute constructive ideas. He has further asked the people to support both the state and central government as the state needs the help of the central government.
Salhoutuonuo: Minister of Women Resource Development and Horticulture, Salhoutuonuo Kruse, who created history by become the first women cabinet minister, held a thanksgiving programme at Kiruphema ground on March 14.
Speaking on the occasion, Kruse thanked the citizens for making her the first woman elected from 8th Western Angami Assembly Constituency and shared her visions and appealed to the citizens to work together as a team.

She has particularly thanked Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio; NDPP president, Chingwang Konyak; and NDPP secretary general, Abu Metha; for their constant support. She also thanked the NPF and BJP of 8 Western Angami AC for their support.
Nyusietho: Advisor of New and Renewable Energy and NSDMA, Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, held a thanksgiving programme at Meluri local ground in Phek district on Friday.
Speaking at the thanksgiving programme, Nyuthe expressed gratitude to the chief minister, Neiphiu Rio and the NDPP president, Chingwang Konyak, for allotting him the party ticket to contest in the general election. Nyuthe defeated a four times MLA Yitachu by a margin of 3580 votes.

He has assured to give his best to serve the electorates of the constituency and Nagas as a whole.
He has acknowledged the administration, police, polling officials, government officials for the smooth and fair conduct of the election. He also expressed gratitude to the electorates for reposing faith on him by election to the state assembly.
Nyuthe appealed to the people to maintain peaceful co-existence for all round development. He further encouraged the students to give their best in their studies to excel in their lives.
Kaito: Minister of PWD (R&B), G Kaito Aye, organised a thanksgiving programme at Gen. Zuheto Memorial Hall in Satakha town on March 16.
In his thanksgiving speech, the minister thanked NDPP officials, NDPP Satakha unit office bearers and party workers for their support and trust by allowing him to contest on NDPP ticket and for working tirelessly to enable him win the election. He also acknowledged the electorates for reposing their faith on him and electing him to represent them, stated an update from the press secretary to the minister.

He further encouraged the gathering to support the government in order to bring about positive change and living standards of the people.
The thanksgiving prayer was said by Rev Honito Chophy, pastor of UBC Satakha, and concluded with a closing prayer said by Anato Chishi, pastor of STBC (Aizuto).
