Dimapur, Sep. 6 (EMN): Dimapur District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) has approved the Local Area Development Programme (LADP) for 2019-2020 in all the five constituencies under Dimapur district.
The approval to this effect was taken during the monthly DPDB meeting held in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, on September 6 under the chairmanship of PHED minister and chairman of DPDB, Jacob Zhimomi.
A DIPR report stated that grievances/ requirement report of schools under Dimapur district prepared by District Education Dimapur was also discussed and recommended by the house.
Basing on the verification report, the house has recommended approval for registration of various societies. The societies included Trinity College at Thahekhu, Dimapur; Eastern Christian College Alumni Association at Padumpukhuri, Dimapur; Nagaland Pencak Silat Association at Y Zhimo colony, Signal Basti, Dimapur; Inclusive Support for Social Upliftment (ISSU) at Firing Range, Lingrijan, Dimapur; Beyond Cancer at Diphupar B Dimapur; Chomoukedima Hindu Society at Ward-6, Chumoukedima town; U-Turn Ministry, opposite Corner Stone Higher Secondary School, Duncan Basti, Dimapur; and Life Square Society at Neiphrole Colony, Chumoukedima village.
Department of Rural Development also made a power point presentations on different schemes that are being taking up in the district under DRDA.
