
Kohima, Oct. 8 (EMN): Dijanglung Kamson representing Peren district retained the men’s single table tennis title for the fifth time defeating Ricky Hinglak of Chümoukedima district in the finals of the 25th Inter-district and State Table Tennis Championship organised by Nagaland Table Tennis Association (NTTA).
The championship was held from October 4 to the 7th at Indoor TT Stadium Officer's Hill in Kohima.
NTTA’s first general secretary, Zaputo Khezhie, who was the special guest for the closing ceremony, stated that NTTA had come a long way and encouraged the fraternity to strive harder to excel.
Khezhie advised the players and winners to keep a broad vision and not be complacent to achieve more in their life.
The next edition- 26th meet of the Inter district and State Table tennis championship, will be held at Mokokchung district.
On the occasion Ale Kreo presented a song and Lhoulievi Belho tendered vote of thanks.

In women’s team event, Kohima district emerged the team champion, while runner-up was Chümoukedima district.
