Kohima, Aug. 30 (EMN): Nineteen-year-old Diezenuo Chüzho was crowned Miss Kohima 2022 at a lively pageant held at RCEMPA, Jotsoma, on Tuesday night.
When asked whether suicide is justifiable, Chüzho replied that it is not so, as one need to appreciate and preserve the life that has been 'beautifully and wonderfully created by God.'
The newly crowned Miss Kohima expressed her desire to be a role model to the youth and to encourage the youngsters to take bold step and pursue their goals in life.
Likhevi Yeptho (23) was adjudged first runner-up while Ketou-ü Pfüsenuo (19) was declared second runner-up.
After the traditional, designer round (summer collection by Sheli Designe) and evening gown rounds (Kats Collection), four subtitle winners were announced.
The subtitle winners are Likhevi Yeptho (Perfect 10), Lhoubeitonuo Khesoh (Miss Talented), Neivozonuo Zao (Miss Multimedia) and Adila T Sangtam (Miss Photogenic).
The event was organised by the Agathos Society on the motto: "inspiring empowerment".
