DGP announces fresh Nagaland Police recruitment advertisements for 1,200 additional posts

DIMAPUR — Director General of Police (DGP) Nagaland, Rupin Sharma, on Sunday issued an update regarding the ongoing recruitment process for 1,176 Constable (GD) posts under the Nagaland Police Department.
Taking to his official social media account, the DGP informed that an advisory has been issued concerning the interview schedule, keeping in view that some candidates are currently appearing for the HSSLC examinations.
Sharma informed that in view of some candidates who may be appearing for Class 12 examinations around the interview schedule dates, such candidates are advised to send email on the recruitment portal and contact the District Level Selection Committee (DSLC) for rescheduling of interview dates.

“Please give your Class 12 exam schedule and roll numbers when you send email”, he informed.
The dates for the interview are scheduled from March 5 to the 13th at 8 am.
The DGP, during an interaction with the media on February 28, stated that fresh recruitment advertisements for 1,200 additional posts will take place this year.
He added that the timeline would be finalised only after the current cycle concludes, likely by mid-March.
