Nagaland: DC Dimapur launches MDMS centralised kitchen

Dimapur, Sep. 16 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal, launched the PM POSHAN (MDMS) centralised kitchen under Dimapur district urban area on September 14.

Speaking at the launch event, Jaiswal has lauded the department of School Education on the initiative of the PM Poshan, in collaboration with the implementation agency Community Educational Centre Society (CECS), Dimapur, stating that it was a step forward towards the welfare of the children.

“Whenever we try to do something new, we have apprehensions but we should break the shackle of comfort zone and work towards the betterment of the community,” CECS has quoted Jaiswal as stated.

“It is through our work to eradicate those doubts and the community in joining hands together to lay those apprehensions to rest,” he said.

The launch event of PM Poshan centralised kitchen by the implementation agency, CECS, Dimapur, was held at GPS Lengrijan.

The director of School Education, Wonthungo Tsopoe, and the director CECS, Subonenba Longkumer, in their speeches, stated the launch of PM Poshan centralised kitchen was a challenge to boost the wellness of the children.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by SMC chairman of GPS Lengrijan, L Panger Yaden.
