Nagaland Cricket Association conducts its 7th AGM in Dimapur and felicitates President Watinuksung Jamir.
DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) held its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the NCA conference room in Dimapur on Saturday.
The meeting was chaired by President of the Nagaland Cricket Association Watinuksung Jamir, according to an update.
During the meeting, the Honorary Secretary’s report and the Honorary Treasurer’s report for the financial year 2025-26 were presented before the house and duly adopted. Motions received from the respective district cricket associations were tabled before the house for consideration and deliberation.
The house discussed various matters concerning the development and promotion of cricket across districts, with particular focus on strengthening district-level cricket activities, creating greater opportunities for players and stakeholders, and ensuring the sustained growth of the sport throughout the state.
A special felicitation was accorded to Watinuksung Jamir in recognition of his appointment as Team Manager of the Indian Cricket Team for the India Tour of Sri Lanka Test Series 2026. Members of the association expressed pride on the occasion and congratulated him on the responsibility.
