Nagaland Cricket Association announces open trials for 2026–27 season across age-group and senior categories from June 10

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) has announced open trials for the 2026–27 cricket season across various age-group and senior categories, inviting aspiring cricketers from across the state to compete for selection.
According to a press release, the trials will be conducted at GNR Ground, Dimapur, beginning June 10 and will cover senior men's, women's and age-group categories.
The trial schedule includes Senior Men on June 10; Men Under-19 on June 11 and 12; Boys Under-16 on June 13; Men Under-23 on June 15 and 16; Women Under-15 and Under-19 on June 17; and Women Under-23 and Senior categories on June 18.

The association stated that all interested players must register through their respective district cricket associations and report at the venue by 8.30 am on the scheduled dates.
Players are required to produce a recommendation letter from their district cricket association along with original birth certificates and Aadhaar cards for verification. For Girls Under-15, Boys Under-16 and Boys/Girls Under-19 categories, candidates must additionally submit either three years of school mark sheets or a school leaving certificate.
As per the eligibility criteria, Girls Under-15 players must be born between September 1, 2011, and August 31, 2014, while Boys Under-16 players should be born between September 1, 2010, and August 31, 2012. Players in the Under-19 category must be born on or after September 1, 2007, while Under-23 players must be born on or after September 1, 2003.
The NCA informed that a fitness test will form part of the selection process. Participants will have to attend the trials at their own expense and must wear white playing attire.
It also directed district cricket associations to complete and certify document verification before the trials.
