Nagaland Covid update: 70 new cases detected

Dimapur, Oct. 11 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded 70 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 7019.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

“70 positive cases of Covid-19 detected today. Dimapur-51, Kohima-13, Peren-2, Tuensang, Mon, Longleng and Mokokchung one each. Also, 49 patients have been recovered. Dimapur-33 and Kohima-15, Tuensang-1,” tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 1253 active Covid-19 cases. It has recorded 5684 recoveries and 17 deaths so far.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 744 followed by Kohima-308, Mon-83, Tuensang-24, Peren-15, Mokokchung-14, Longleng-5 and Phek-1 while Wokha, Zunheboto and Kiphire have zero case of Covid-19 so far.
