Dimapur, Nov. 1 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 28 new Covid-19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 9075.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
‘28 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Sunday); Dimapur-22, Kohima-4, Mon and Longleng one each. Also, 79 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-71, Mon-5 and Peren-3,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 1499 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1425 are asymptomatic, 43 mild, 15 moderate on oxygen, 8 severe on oxygen and 8 on Critical-ICU. The state has also recorded 7454 recoveries and 39 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 1115 cases, followed by Kohima-275, Mon-57, Mokokchung-14, Peren-9, Tuensang-11,Kiphire-8, Zunheboto-8 and Wokha-2, while Phek and Longleng have zero cases so far.
