Nagaland Covid-19 update: Tally rises to 9536 as 33 new cases detected

Dimapur, Nov. 10 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 33 new Covid-19 positive cases on Today, taking the state’s tally to 9536.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘33 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Tuesday); Dimapur-18, Kohima-9, Mon-4, Peren and Mokokchung one each.  Also, 82 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-52, Mokokchung-11, Kohima and Mon nine each, Wokha-1,’ tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 886 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 828 are asymptomatic, 33 mild, 10 moderate on oxygen, 10 severe on oxygen and five critical in ICU. The state has also recorded 8505 recoveries and 50 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 556 cases, followed by Kohima-217, Mon-83, Tuensang-13, Peren-7, Mokokchung-6 , Zunheboto-2, and one each in Kiphire and Phek, while Wokha and Longleng  have zero cases so far.
