Dimapur, Oct. 29 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 70 new Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday, taking the state’s tally to 8894.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
’70 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Thursday); Dimapur-46, Kohima-19, Mon-3, Longleng and Zunheboto one each. Also, 150 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-102, Kohima-34, Mon and Peren 5 each and Zunheboto-4,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 1758 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1668 are asymptomatic, 56 mild, 20 moderate, four severe on oxygen and 10 on Critical-ICU.
The state has also recorded 7019 recoveries and 35 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 1322 cases, followed by Kohima-259, Mon-76, Mokokchung-52, Peren-14, Tuensang, Zunheboto and Kiphire 11 each, Wokha-2, while Phek and Longleng have zero cases so far.
