Nagaland Covid-19 update: 67 new cases detected; tally rises to 5671

Dimapur, Sep. 23 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 67 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the state’s tally to 5,671.

The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, informed through an update that ‘out of 407 results received, 67 were Covid-19 positive -- 58 in Kohima, five in Dimapur  and two each in Tuensang and Mon’.

The state also reported 16 recoveries --15 from Kohima and one from Wokha,’ he added.

According to the update from the Health department till the time of filing this story, Nagaland has 1123 active Covid-19 cases and 10 deaths.
