Dimapur, Aug. 28 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 21 new Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, taking the state's tally to 3805.
This was informed by the state’s minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, on August 28.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=6]"21 new positive cases of Covid-19 have been reported out of 351 samples tested. 10 in Kohima, seven in Dimapur, two in Zunheboto, one in Wokha and one in Mon. Necessary contact tracing have been activated by our IDSP team," the minister tweeted.
According to the information provided by the Health department till the time of filing this report, the state has 1052 active Covid-19 cases, 2735 recoveries, and eight deaths.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 543 active cases, followed by Kohima at 397, Mon at 40, Zunheboto at 31, Tuensang at nine, Wokha at seven, Mokokchung at four, Peren at three and one each at Longleng and Kiphire. Phek currently has zero active cases.
