Dimapur, Nov. 2 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 21 new Covid-19 positive cases on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 9096.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘21 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Monday); Kohima-12, Dimapur-8 and Mokokchung-1. Also, 152 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-140, Kohima-10 and Mon-2,’ tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 1363 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1296 are asymptomatic, 42 mild, 12 moderate on oxygen, six severe on oxygen, six critical on oxygen and one critical on ventilator.

The state has also recorded 7606 recoveries and 42 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 978 cases, followed by Kohima-277, Mon-55, Mokokchung-15, Tuensang-11, Peren-9, eight each in Kiphire and Zunheboto and Wokha-2, while Phek and Longleng have zero cases so far.
