Dimapur, Oct. 13 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 123 new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 7363.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
‘123 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Tuesday); Dimapur-66, Kohima-37, Mokochung-19 and Mon-1. Also, 16 patients have recovered; Dimapur-14 and Mon-2,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, the state has 1505 active Covid-19 cases. The state has also recorded 5770 recoveries and 19 deaths, out of which five have been declared ‘not Covid-related’.
Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha, in his daily briefing, informed that as per the severity of symptoms, 1,445 active cases were asymptomatic; 46 mild, 10 moderate, one severe, one with oxygen, and two cases on ventilators.
“Further, out of 7,363 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 3,364 cases of armed forces/police, 1,564 cases of returnees, 2,063 cases of traced contacts and 372 cases of frontline workers,” he said.
