Dimapur, Oct. 16 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 112 new Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, taking the state’s tally to 7604.
This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.
‘112 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Friday); Dimapur-64, Kohima-21, Mokochung-20, Mon-3, Tuensang-2, Longleng and Peren one each. Also, 91 patients have recovered; Dimapur-62, Kohima-21 and Mon-8,’ tweeted the minister.
According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 1466 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1410 are asymptomatic, 41 mild, 10 moderate and five in critical-ICU. The state has also recorded 6046 recoveries and 17 deaths, out which five are ‘not Covid-19-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 953 cases, followed by Kohima-358, Mokokchung-56, Mon-37, Tuensang-34, Peren-19, four each in Longleng and Zunheboto and Phek-1, while Kiphire and Wokha have zero cases so far.
