Nagaland Covid-19 update: 102 new cases detected; tally breaches 9000-mark

Dimapur, Oct. 31 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 102 new Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday, taking the state’s tally to 9047.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘102 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Saturday); Dimapur-84, Kohima-16, Mon-2. Also, 146 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-127, Kohima-7, Mon-9, Kiphire-3,’ tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 1552 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 1478 are asymptomatic, 49 mild, six moderate on oxygen, nine severe on oxygen and 10 on Critical-ICU.

The state has also recorded 7375 recoveries and 39 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 1165 cases, followed by Kohima-271, Mon-61, Mokokchung-14, Peren-12, Tuensang-11, Kiphire-8, Zunheboto-8 and Wokha-2, while Phek and Longleng  have zero cases so far.
