Dimapur, Mar. 7 (EMN): Nagaland recorded a single-day rise of 10 Covid-19 positive cases on Monday, taking the tally to 35,430 and active caseload to 62.
The state’s cumulative recoveries increased to 33, 129 with recovery of five more patients -- three in Dimapur and one each in Kohima and Wokha -- in the last 24 hours while the death toll remained unchanged at 753 with no fresh fatalities.
According to an update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, five positive cases were reported in Dimapur, two each in Kohima and Mokokchung and one in Kiphire.
Out of 62 active cases in the state, 57 are asymptomatic, four mild and one moderate on oxygen.
In terms of distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 41 infections, 15 in Kohima, four in Mokokchung, and one each in Wokha and Kiphire, while Mon, Tuensang, Peren, Zunheboto, Longleng and Phek are currently Covid-19 free.
