Nagaland Conservatory of Music signs an MoU with Russia's Saratov State Conservatory to foster music education and cultural exchange.

DIMAPUR — The Saratov State Conservatory, Russian Federation, and the Nagaland Conservatory of Music (NCM), India, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation and foster long-term collaboration in the fields of music education and cultural exchange.
The MoU establishes a framework for the exchange of experience and expertise in educational, methodical, artistic, and scientific spheres. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to promote mutual learning, academic enrichment, and artistic dialogue between faculty members, researchers, and students.
Key areas of cooperation outlined in the agreement include joint academic initiatives, exchange of pedagogical methodologies, collaborative artistic projects, research cooperation, masterclasses, workshops, and participation in concerts, festivals, and scholarly events. The partnership also envisions opportunities for student and faculty exchanges, subject to mutual consent and feasibility.
According to a press release, this collaboration brings together two distinguished institutions with rich musical traditions. The Saratov State Conservatory was represented by its rector, Alexander G Zanorin, and the Nagaland Conservatory of Music was represented by its chairman, Lipokmar Tzudir.
Both institutions expressed confidence that this partnership will open new avenues for creativity, research, and intercultural understanding.
