Dimapur, Feb. 3 (EMN): Nagaland collected INR 758.95 crore as motor vehicle tax revenue from February 2021-Januray 2022, according to the CM’s dashboard.
The data revealed that a total of 3, 76, 209 vehicles had been registered, while 46, 889 vehicle permits were issued in the state from February 2021 to January 31, 2022.
Kohima district had the highest number of vehicles registered with total revenue (motor vehicle tax) of INR 499.25 crore. Three districts namely Peren, Kiphire and Longleng recorded zero vehicle registration, zero motor vehicles tax and vehicle permit.
