DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Tuesday extended warm greetings to the Phom, Chang and Konyak communities on the occasion of their respective festivals.
Greeting the Phom community on the festival of Monyu, Rio said that the occasion, which marks the arrival of spring and the beginning of a new year, should usher in growth and prosperity. He expressed hope that the celebrations would strengthen familial and community bonds while bringing joy and renewal.

Extending wishes to the Chang community on Kündanglüm, the chief minister said that the festival, associated with preparations for the new agricultural cycle, should inspire collective progress and bring a bountiful harvest. He also wished for good health and abundant blessings for the season ahead.
Rio further conveyed greetings to the Konyak community on Aoleang, expressing hope that the festival marking the new year would bring renewed hope, prosperity, and peace.
