Nagaland Chief Secretary reviews preparedness for Hornbill Festival in Kohima
Sentiyanger Imchen presiding over a Hornbill Festival preparedness meeting in Kohima on Wednesday.


DIMAPUR — A meeting under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen, with all line departments, was held on Wednesday at the Secretariat Conference Hall, Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima.


The meeting was convened to review the status of preparedness for the Hornbill Festival, stated a DIPR report.


The chief secretary emphasised the importance of starting preparations early and the formation of subcommittees for effective coordination. He also called on the line departments to come prepared with concrete action plans and proposals for the next meeting on August 25.

The meeting also deliberated at length on various issues related to roads, sanitation, transportation, electricity, and logistics arrangements by various departments.


The departments also highlighted their action plans and work progress during the meeting.
