DIMAPUR — Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and his deputy Y Patton have extended greetings to the Konyak community on the occasion of Lao-Ong Mo festival.

“Greetings to the Konyak community on the occasion of Lao-Ong Mo. As you celebrate and give thanks to God for an abundant harvest, may it also bring blessings for a fruitful sowing season in the year ahead. Best wishes for a joyous and safe celebration,” he wrote on X.

‘I extend my warm greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of Milad-Un-Nabi (Id-E-Milad), which commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad,’ he also wrote.

Patton also conveyed Lao-Ong Mo festive greetings to the Konyak community and Id-E-Milad wishes to the Muslim communuty on behalf of the state BJP legislators.
