Director of Census Operations Kenei Miachieo met Kohima DC B Henok Buchem to review Census 2027 progress.

DIMAPUR — The Director of Census Operations for Nagaland, Dr. Kenei Miachieo, called on the Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Principal Census Officer of Kohima, B Henok Buchem, at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on July 29 to review the progress of the ongoing census operations.
The meeting was attended by the charge officers of the Kohima district, according to a DIPR report.
During the meeting, Dr. Miachieo expressed confidence in the ongoing census operations in the district, stating that there was no reason for inaccurate data as the officers involved were competent and committed to their responsibilities. He also observed that the people of Nagaland are understanding and cooperative when the purpose and importance of the census are properly explained.
Urging all government servants to contribute sincerely towards the successful conduct of the census, he stated that the quality of the exercise depends on the dedication and collective efforts of every official involved.
Dr. Miachieo noted that the data collected so far matched the expected figures, adding that the charge officers would now have significant responsibilities in scrutinising and analysing the data.
