DIMAPUR — The Nagaland youth (U-19) men's and women's boxing team will participate in the National Boxing Championship 2026 in Guwahati, Assam, scheduled from April 12 to the 19th.
According to an update, the team comprises eight members, including five men's boxers, one women's boxer, one team manager, and one coach.
The men's boxers who will represent the state at the national level are Mhasivilie (47 kg), Bibek (50 kg), Kulungoi (55 kg), Ilkungkeu (60 kg), and Kalamthai (65 kg). Veno (60 kg) will represent the state in the women's category.
Asang is the team manager. The team is accompanied by N Akokla Tzudir, Nagaland Police boxing coach and International Boxing Association (AIBA) star 1 boxing coach.
