DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has reminded all schools affiliated with the NBSE about the mandatory implementation of the APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry ID) as the primary student identifier for every student.
According to a DIPR report, schools must ensure the following: every enrolled student is assigned a valid APAAR ID through the official UDISE-enabled portal; all student data, including academic records, transfers, assessments and co-curricular information must be mapped to the APAAR ID; and compliance must be completed prior to the commencement of final term registrations for the academic session 2025-2026.

Additionally, institutions have been directed to refer to the notification issued on January 28, 2025, for further information and details regarding procedures, timelines and support mechanisms.
“Non-compliance may result in delays in record processing, examination registration, or other academic administrative functions,” it stated.
