Dimapur, September 8: Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified information to all concerned for availing the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme (CSSS) as directed by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, National Scholarship Division.
NBSE notification stated that application for fresh as well as renewal of scholarship must be submitted through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) before September 30, adding Aadhaar seeding will be mandatory for disbursement of all scholarship with effect from this financial year.
It said every beneficiary should have a separate bank account and get their Aadhaar number linked with their bank account number.It also stated that Principal/ Head of the institutions must register their institution first in the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) (http://schoIarships.gov.in/). They are requested to inform and sensitise their eligible students for CSSS to apply through the NPS portal within the time frame.
The Head of the institution must verify properly before forwarding the application of the CSSS beneficiary students (new and renewal) within the stipulated time.
Further, the Head of the institutions are requested to furnish to the Board’s office (nagaboard@gmail.com) at the earliest the list of eligible beneficiaries of CSSS, who have their Aadhaar seeding. This has been necessitated to enable the Board to submit the status report to the Ministry of Human Resources Development, New Delhi.
