NBSE directs registered schools to conduct Aadhaar camps for generating student APAAR IDs by October 17.
KOHIMA — The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has directed all registered schools under its purview to conduct a special drive campaign on Aadhaar enrolment and update camps for the generation of Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) IDs for students.
In a notification issued by Chairperson of the Nagaland Board of School Education Rangumbuing Nsarangbe, it was stated that, in accordance with the directive of the Department of School Education, Nagaland, all registered institutions under the NBSE are required to conduct the special drive.
The notification reminded school authorities that necessary information and instructions regarding the implementation of APAAR IDs had previously been communicated by the NBSE on January 28, 2025, and January 21, 2026.

Accordingly, the board has directed all heads of registered institutions under the NBSE to undertake necessary measures to ensure compliance with the current directive.
The chairperson informed that the status report and action taken report regarding the special drive must be submitted online through the Google Form link provided by the board on or before October 17 without fail.
Schools have been asked to accord top priority to the matter and ensure compliance within the stipulated timeline.
