Nagaland blank Assam 7-0 to enter Subroto semis

Dimapur, Sep. 11 (EMN): Nagaland blanked Assam 7-0 in the third quarterfinal match of the ongoing U-14 Subroto Cup 2022 played in New Delhi on Sunday.

Nagaland represented by Greenwood School Dimapur players continued their goal scoring spree as they notched seven goals against Mingmang Nalbari High School, Assam, in the third quarter final encounter.

This time, Vilasielie scored a hat-trick in the 7^th, 24^th and 36^th minutes of the game. Kevisede, Ketou, Viselie and Nisede scored a goal each to seal the fate of Assam boys.

In another quarter final match, Heirok Higher Secondary School, Imphal, defeated NNMHSS, Chelembra, Kerala 6-0.

With the win, Nagaland will now play against Manipur in the semifinal round of the tournament on September 13 at 3 pm.
