Nagaland BJP to hold executive meeting today

Dimapur, April 16 (EMN): Nagaland state Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) today announced to hold its state executive meeting at IMC Hall on April 17. This was informed by the party general secretary (admin), Khevishe Sema, during a press conference held at Tourist Lodge.

It was informed that the state executive meeting would be attended by the national spokesperson and in-charge of Nagaland, Nalin Kohli. It added that the national general secretary BL Santhosh would address the partymen via virtual mode.

Khevishe informed that the achievements and policies of BJP government under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the last six years would be highlighted during the meeting. The achievements and policies included launching of GST on July 1, 2017, Pradhan Mantra Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission Campaign, Ujjwala Yojana, Triple Talaq Bill, Make in India, scrapping of Article 370 which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir etc.

Also speaking at the conference, president of the Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha (BJPMM), Phangnon Konyak, stated that the party workers in Nagaland trying to create awareness regarding various the schemes in order to benefit the common people.

Replying to a query on the issue pertaining to removal of the state party president, the party has admitted certain misunderstanding within the district presidents. They further clarified that the issues has been resolved peacefully and there was no crisis with the party.
