DIMAPUR — As part of month-long celebration of nine years of Modi government, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland organised a Sanyukt Morcha Sammelan (joint morcha conference) at the Orchid conference hall of Hotel Saramati in Dimapur on Tuesday.

An update from BJP ST Morcha stated that Wanphong Konyak, state president of ST Morcha and chairperson of Nagaland Bio-Resource Mission (NBRM), chaired the programme, while Tenyebinlo Himb, state general secretary of ST Morcha and member of SLPC 9YMG, said the invocation.

It stated that O Atila Phom, state secretary and co-convenor of SLPC 9YMG, delivered the welcome address and followed with a short speech delivered by Arvind Damani, BJYM national executive member.

Report stated that H Sethrongkyu Sangtam, MLA and advisor of IT and Communication, Economics and Statistics, Evaluation, exhorted the gathering and launched the 3rd phase of 9YMG in the presence of S Phangnon Konyak, MP Rajya Sabha, and Khevishe Sema, state general secretary and convenor of 9YMG state-level programme committee.

It stated that Khevishe Sema has highlighted about Ghar Ghar Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan (door-to-door outreach campaign) during the programme. It added that representatives from the Yuva, Mahila, ST, Minority and Kisan Morcha presented their upcoming activities for 9YMG to the house and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Hosheto Awomi, state president of BJYM.
