Dimapur, Dec. 16 (EMN): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of 3 Dimapur-III mandal celebrated pre-Christmas-cum-annual consultative meeting hosted by aspirating candidate of forthcoming general election 2023, K Hukuto Khulu, BJP state executive member, at his residence.
BJP spokesperson and in-charge of Nagaland, Nahlin S Kohli, who also attended the event, conveyed Christmas greetings to the gathering. More than 600 members attended the meeting.
The host of the event, Hukato Khulu, observed that the residents of Dimapur-III AC have many problems with no proper road, electricity or schools. With the approaching of the state general elections, he appealed to the gathering to choose their representative wisely. He was of the opinion that only a candidate from Dimapur III should represent the area because they understand the problems.
He further expressed willingness to contest in the upcoming election if the party was willing to support him.
Spokesperson of BJP Nagaland, Kashito Kiba, expressed that Dimapur-III AC is the most neglected area in the district. He opined that Dimapur-III AC needed a leader who can sacrifice and bring about changes in the society.
Also speaking on the occasion, secretary of BJP Nagaland, Zaveyi Kezo, stated that the party is only an organisation to serve the people. He added that the party serves the people from their own pocket.
Short speeches were delivered by Bimal Jigdong, head GB of Bamunpukhuri-I; Mhonjan Ngullie and Rajalal, GBs of Bhamunpukuri-I; Honito Sema, mangdal president of 5 Ghaspani-II; and Tokuho Neho Sohoi, president BJP of Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland districts.
