MOKOKCHUNG — The Nagaland Bible College (NBC) held its 45th graduation service at the Discovery Hall on its campus in Artang ward, Mokokchung, on Thursday.
During the ceremony, eight students received the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree, and 15 were awarded the Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) degree.
Principal Dr. Sentila Ao conferred the degrees in the presence of board members, faculty, and other guests. Pastor S Daniel Ao of the Ao Council, Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC), delivered the convocation address.

Speaking on the challenges of today’s world, Pastor Ao observed that society is grappling with complexity, corruption, and confusion and is desperately seeking genuine answers.
“The world does not need leaders chasing high-profile lifestyles,” he told the graduates. Instead, he urged them to step into the world as shepherds who sacrifice to protect and nurture the needy, as servants who serve with humility, empathy, and a deep sense of responsibility, and as peacemakers who bring love, compassion, gentleness, and mercy.
He reminded the graduates that their faith would be tested and their foundations shaken at times, but they must always return to the core of their calling: shepherd, servant, and peacemaker.
“It is not your ability or intellect, but God’s favour that will sustain you,” he stated.

Pastor Ao exhorted the graduates to redeem the time because “the days are evil". This, he said, is possible only through deliberate investment in a life of prayer, Bible reading, fasting, and the bold proclamation of the good news.
In addition to the degrees, the college presented various academic excellence awards to outstanding students in both the Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Theology programmes, along with other awards.
