Nagaland beat Manipur in C K Nayudu trophy

Dimapur, Nov. 25 (EMN): Nagaland U-23 men’s team won its third consecutive four-day match of the Col C K Nayudu trophy after beating Manipur by 9 wickets at the NCA Stadium, Sovima, in Dimapur on Sun. Nov. 25. Earlier, Nagaland beat Sikkim at Bhubaneswar and Meghalaya at Shillong. The next match is at Golaghat from Nov. 30 to Dec. 3 against Arunachal. Other matches are against Pondicherry from Dec. 8 to 11, against Mizoram from Dec. 16 to 19, against Bihar from Dec. 24 to 27 and against Uttrakhand from Jan. 1 to 4. The top team of the group will qualify for the All India Knock-out stage. Score: Manipur (1st innings)—325 all out (2nd innings)—198 all out Nagaland (1st innings)—462 all out 2nd innings—62 for 1 Result: Nagaland won by 9 wickets as Manipur gave a target of 62 runs after suffering a first innings deficit of 137 runs.
