- DIMAPUR — Nagaland
was awarded the first position in Mandatory Biometric Updates (MBU) of children
during the Aadhaar Samvaad held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on April 8.
- An update from the DIPR on Friday stated that the event was
organised by UIDAI under the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information
Technology.
- “The commissioner of Nagaland, who also serves as the
registrar for Aadhaar in the state, along with the deputy commissioners, has
been spearheading intensive enrolment drives for children. These concerted
efforts have resulted in a significant increase in the number of MBUs,” it
stated.

- Registrar for Aadhaar, Nagaland, KS Anden Konyak expressed
appreciation to all the deputy commissioners for their relentless efforts, it
added.
