Mokokchung, December 18 (EMN): Apokla Pongen from Longsa village was crowned Miss Ao 2021 during the fourth Miss Ao pageant 2021 grand finale which was held at Multi-Purpose Sports Complex, Mokokchung on December 17.
Apokla Pongen also bagged the subtitle of best ethnic wear. Yangerjungla from Changtongya and Temjentila from Mongsenyimti were adjudged as the first and second runners-up respectively.
The event was organised by Lodestar Entertainment, where a total of 9 contestants vied for the coveted title.
The contestants took part in the contest, consisting of three rounds- traditional round, casual round and evening wear . Other subtitle winners were; Imkongmongla Longkumer - Miss Personality, Moarenla - Miss Congeniality, Yangerjungla – Miss Beautiful Smile and Temjentila Ozukum Best Evening Gown.
