
Dimapur, Nov. 6 (EMN): In a glittering ceremony, Ajano Kithan won the coveted title of Miss Tokhu 2022 Chümoukedima, held at Chümoukedima Town Council Hall on Nov. 5.
An update from DIPR issued on Nov. 6 inofrmed that the programme was organised by Kotha Youth Organisation as part of Tokhu Emong celebration.
Benthungo Enny and Ruth Humstoe were adjudged 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively.
For subtitle winners, Lorenbeni won the Miss Congeniality and Best ethnic wear award, Lochumi for Miss Multimedia, Benthunglo Enny as Miss Photogenic and Best Evening gown, Ruth Humstoe as Miss Perfect 10 and Ajano Kithan won the best Ramp walk.
Panel of judges for the event were DPRO Dimapur, Lolano Patton; Assistant professor PCC, MSSM and HOD voice department, Golden crown theological College, Mhathung Odyuo; post graduate teacher DPS and educationist, Renthunglo Shitiri; jewellery and fashion designer, Zaben Murry and designer Loreni Sophie .
The event was graced by SDO Er. Lichonthung Patton and Miss Nagaland 2021, Mharoni Khuvung.
Highlights of the programme included showcasing of traditional attires, special presentation from various artistes through dances and songs displaying the rich culture of the Lotha community.
