[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]With accidents being reported at a concerning frequency along the four-lane road in Chümoukedima, the traffic police said that on-duty personnel monitor road safety regulations, including helmet usage by two-wheeler riders, monitoring of intoxicated drivers, enforcing speed limits, driving on the wrong lane, under age driving, as well as vehicles without proper documentation.
However, it was said that monitoring the stretch of road during the early hours is challenging, especially when some personnel are on sick leave.
